| first class aftersales service Here at The Wheelchair Centre we take customer service very
seriously. We believe that if we supply a product, we must
be capable of offering comprehensive back up to support the
product during its lifespan. In order to achieve this we have
invested much time and effort, not to mention finances, in
to establishing a first class service facility. We are not
claiming perfection, although we are working on it, but we
have created what we consider to be an aftersales service
second to none. in-house servicing At Audenshaw we have a purpose built service department staffed
by factory trained engineers. To assist us to deal with problems
quickly, we use the latest equipment, including computer based
diagnostics for electronic controllers and battery testing.
We keep a comprehensive stock of commonly used parts and in
the case of a simple fault or routine service, we can carry
out work "while you wait". off-site servicing Whilst we have a comprehensive in-house facility, we appreciate
that not everyone is able to bring their machine to us. In
these situations we can come to you. We have fully equipped
service vehicles that enable us to carry out all but the most
complex of jobs at your home or place of work, and, at a time
to suit you. insurance In the unfortunate event of accidental damage, The Wheelchair
Centre can operate quickly to get you mobile again. We are
approved repairers for all the major wheelchair insurers and
in the case of Alexander Forbes, can effect immediate repairs
without the need for form filling if your claim is below a
certain amount. If the problem with your machine is more complex,
we can, subject to availability, offer a loan machine to keep
you mobile. Even if you haven't purchased your machine from us, subject
to parts availability, we would be happy to quote for any
service work you may require. hire service We operate a hire service for manual wheelchairs and 110
volt chargers. Proof of I.D. is required & payment is
to be made by credit/debit card. Charges are as follows:
